Install Google Chrome in ubuntu 12-04(precise)


Google Chrome one of the most used, leading and popular web browser among the internet users. It is available for Linux(rpm,deb), Mac and Windows.

How to Install Google Chrome in ubuntu 12-04(precise)?

1.

Download the current stable GC  version from here.
Open terminal>>Move the directory where the .dep file is downloaded

Type  the command to install .dep file from terminal
sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb
#if you find any error and installation filed because the dependency like the screen below, you need to run this command to force the installation process.
sudo apt-get install -f


the command above will install GC automatically. wait the installation progress until finish. When done, you have already installed GC in ubuntu. That’s it. Now enjoy using the Google Chrome.
